Drawing Cats

29 April 2010 No Comment

Kids love to draw animals.  So do grownups – they are also my favorite subject matter.  It can be frustrating to get the picture to come out just right.   Drawing Cats is a fun way to learn how to sketch  -  step by step you will  learn to create simple shapes which will become the framework for finished drawings,  from tabby cats to calico cats,  stretching cats to snoozing cats,  playful kittens included.  The directions are simple and  the diagrams are straightforward. Drawing cats also comes with a dandy sketch pad in back.  When I illustrated this book,  I was able to use wonderful reference photographs from family albums.   One of my sisters fosters kittens for a local shelter, and all of my sisters include kitties in their families – Sassy the Calico,   Allie the Long-limbed,  and Guido the Tuxedo.  The  pictures they shared helped make  this book  a treat to visualize and design.
